The Sony Ericsson Xperia X8 offers a four-corner customisable home screen enabling you to set which four main places you most want or need to get to when you go to the handset. Social networking and messaging are present also, along with many other impressive features including video reducing and image capture with the 3.2 megapixel camera. 
The handset features a full WebKit web browser which offers complete HTML webpages on the compact 3 inch touch screen display with HVGA resolution respectively. The display has easy touch controls of the user interface and Android operating system running, along with simple text input through the onscreen QWERTY keyboard, great for messages and emails. The web browser also offers Bookmarks along with pan and zoom to improve clarity. The handset is also able to offer video streaming and has integrated YouTube, along with other entertainment form 3D games with Java support and an internal FM radio. 
The Xperia X8 provides a 3.2 megapixel camera for video recording and image capture. Both can be viewed back on the handset, as well as being automatically location tagged by Geotagging capabilities included. The integrated social networking provided through Facebook and Twitter, which includes the intuitive Timescape user interface, it is easy to upload and share photos with friends. Additionally, the send to web feature enables you to simply upload your multimedia to your own personal webspace such as a website or blog. Other Geolocation services are offered through the preloaded Google Maps for maps onscreen and directions; along with Wisepilot for step by step navigation, all due to the aGPS receiver present.

Meanwhile, a fast internet connection can be achieved with the WiFi connectivity offered.
