Is a 9800 GT Akimbo Overclocked edition with six power supply pins compatible with a core 2 quad processor?

i dont really know what to say. I just dont know how to plug it in or if my comp has that power supply plug. its an hp pavilion elite d5000t atx series. 6gb ram 460 watt power supply. where do i plug these things in?

A 460 watt supply probably won’t power that card and a quad core. As long as the motherboard supports the processor and has the pciE slot for the card, there will be no compatibility issues. Also, just making sure, are you running 64 bit windows? Otherwise you’ll only be using about half that ram.
