Advice required on what CPU Cooling Fan I may require?
I wish to renew my noisy CPU fan and heatsink in my current desktop PC, it has the following specifications:
CASE: Cool master Centurion
NFORCE4-A939 main board
Amd Athlon 64 x2 3800+ Skt 939 2.0GHz 512KB processor
Could anyone please advise me on what cooling fan I would be best to use. I have a budget of £45 max.
There is also a small fan in the computer on I believe the North Bridge, could anyone advice on what I should buy to replace this also?
I am not very computer literate so I may not understand a lot of technical information.

Thanks everyone, i have had a look at all suggestions. But i have to confess I am confused as to how some of these fans attach to my Mother board. Some of them look like they are held on by screws and mine looks like there is an arm attached to a clamp. Anyone got any ideas or guidance they can give?

Check Arctic Cooling’s www site. See if any models there fit the cpu/socket area on your mobo. The Freezer Pro rev 2 comes with both intel & amd socket brackets but check first to see if it fits your socket@mobo. It’s quite a tall beast but it is silent, and if you have a funnel stuck to the side of your case (like a chimney) you might have to unscrew it.
Unless your fans really are loud or are coming to the end of their useful life, there’s no real point in changing them.
