Copper Blocks for heatsink
I am looking for some copper blocks to work on a customize cpu cooler. I had tried some cooling tools but they failed eventually on my motherboard. So buy getting a proper cut copper block I can not only fix my old one but also use the heatsink as per my need. So what you recommend here. Either to choose a ready made heatsink or to get a customize one which is rather costly.

You must change your heatsink. You can starts with Cooler Master, Zalman and Thermalright to get the right one for you. It is entirely wrapped in dense foam, and will not suffer during transport. The bundle consists of: a manual of necessary mounting socket 775/1366, thermal paste based on silver and two clamps for the CPU cooler. The fan base is not present so that need to be a additional cost.
Thermolab is a brand that we have discovered with the Baram, a CPU cooler can compete with market leaders. She returns today with an interesting product, because in 92 mm and less bulky than the average. The BADA is its name, uses aluminum heat pipes and three HDT. But to show he performance, despite its small size. You can look for the specific heatsink in that manner.

Like all products Thermolab, the BADA is delivered in a cardboard box with some cardboard color markings. Thermolab released a new cooler since the success of the excellent Baram. Inside, there is a leaflet, the fastening system, self-adhesive cardboard washers and thermal paste based on silver. It is a less massive cooler with a 92mm fan. His name is Bada.

I have Thermolab BADA heat sink which is quiet nice. The radiator has a quadruple structure. It actually consists of four blocks of aluminum fins. First three blocks are side by side proper ventilated and the fourth covers everything horizontally. The fins are slightly curved at the ends and canals are dug to a point on the sides. One fan black circular frame is plated on a side. It is maintained by rivets Antivibration rubber. It runs from 1000 to 2800 RPM and is supplied with 4-pin PWM.
The Bada measures 95 x 115 x 135mm and weighs 597 gram. Its size allows integration into medium size boxes. The fan seems to be less massive than the Baram with its reasonable size and 92mm fan but its volume occupancy is ultimately greater than the Baram. The height of the Bada remains largely reduced, which enables integration into enclosures average small.
k
I will recommend you to try Gemini CoolerMaster. It composed of a copper base topped 5 heatpipes running through the aluminum fins, the Gemini S wants to be more ergonomic and valuable asset, comes with a 120mm fan running between 1000 and 2000 RPM for noise estimated between 17-21 dB. The mounting system can also replace the 120 mm for 1 or 2 fans of 80-90 mm. The cooler seems in any case of quality and finish of the base without being impressive.
